In the announcement, the commission said that they are looking for office space that can be leased to them for a period of ten years. They said that those that meet requirements can submit for bidding.
Bidding will open on October 28, they said.
The Elections Commission's offices are currently located in the Port Complex structure, with some of its offices located in Dharubaaruge as well.
As per the bidding information included with the announcement, the commission is seeking premises located in Male', which is at least of 13,500 sqft in size.
Factors that will be considered in choosing a space to rent include the availability of parking space for four wheeled vehicles, the building's location being on a wide street, the building having more than one life, and the space being designed for office use.
