The visit is part of the President's ongoing programme of council consultations, which commenced earlier this year. With the completion of this latest tour, the President has now met with 185 councils across the country.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a two day official visit to islands of Alifu Dhaalu atoll today.
According to the President's Office, President Muizzu is set to visit Mahibadhoo, Dhangethi, and Omadhoo and meet with the Island Councils and Women's Development Committees.
