Judicial Service Commission to ensure Supreme Court judges meet requirements

The Parliament on Wednesday, passed a motion charging the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) with ensuring Supreme Court judges meet the requirements of their posts.

The motion submitted by Henveiru Central MP and Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) member Ali Azim, also assigned JSC to ascertain whether any corruption cases were lodged against the judges.
