A person who swallowed bullet containing drugs when intercepted by Police while on the road is in critical condition and still receiving treatment at the ICU according to a media official of IMGH.
Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has revealed that the individual who ingested bullets that is believed to have contained narcotics is presently still in intensive care.
Police had intercepted the individual on Monday under suspicions of hiding packages that contains drugs while on the road.
A media official for the hospital said that the person is in serious condition and is still undergoing treatments at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Police has not revealed any further information on the individual and the amount of drugs that were ingested remains unclear.
Police said that the person's family has been informed regarding details of the incident and assured that the procedures that need to be reviewed in the case are being investigated.
