Fedo Private Limited has been awarded the contract to develop an Islamic Centre in Addu City.
The Islamic Centre will include a prayer area that can accommodate 1,500 people, a multi-purpose hall with seating for 450 people, four classrooms, two seminar rooms, an administrative office, an Islamic library, and a pantry.
Fedo has been given 450 days to complete the project.
The signing ceremony held at the Secretariat of the Addu City Council was attended by Vice President Faisal Naseem. Prior to the ceremony, he had visited the land plot designated to develop the Islamic Centre.
The Vice President visited the Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) and held discussions with its senior management to address the need for additional resources to further develop the hospital's services.
He assured them that the administration would work towards addressing their concerns.
