Luxury island destination Dusit Thani Maldives, announced the appointment of Thomas Weber as the property's new General Manager.
In a unique turn of events, the resort's former General Manager Reinhold Johann handed over the 'key' to the resort in an underwater handover ceremony held by the resort chain.
Weber brings with him over 25 years of experience within brands such as Sun International, Hilton, Mövenpick, and The Leela and has worked in seven different countries, including Hong Kong, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, India, Kenya and Switzerland.
Prior to joining Dusit International, Weber served as the regional general manager for the five-star resort Diamonds Thudufushi Resort and Athuruga Resort.
