Emirates enhances airport experience with self check-in kiosks in Dubai

Dubai-based carrier Emirates, on Saturday, announced the installation of self check-in and bag drop kiosks for a seamless airport experience at Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3.

According to Emirates, the service available to all customers travelling to destinations except the United States, Canada, China (Mainland), India and Hong Kong due to additional entry requirements.

In total, 16 self-service bag drop machines and 8 self-service kiosks assist the Emirates check-in agents to reduce waiting time for customers during peak periods and improve the customer experience in Dubai, with additional self-services facilities to be added in the near future.

The kiosks offers customers self- check-ins, receive boarding passes, choose seats and drop off their bags and will be continually upgraded to offer new features including going touchless and allowing customers to make re-bookings.

The facilities are cleaned and disinfected regularly and hand sanitisers are also available for customers to use.

The new offering, developed in collaboration with Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects and Dubai Airports, is part of Emirates’ continued investment in product and service to provide an unmatched travel experience.
