Maldives Police Service launches manhunt on two cannabis trafficking suspects.
Local law enforcement believes the individuals are connected to the cannabis trafficking case currently lodged to Maldives Criminal Court. Police was ordered by the court to place the suspects in their remand for the duration of the court trial.
Authorities announced manhunt for;
- Ibrahim Irufan: 21 years (Haivakaruge/ Thaa atoll Vilufushi)
- Usham Adnan - 26 years (Dhaftharu No: DR. 521/ Male')
Criminal Court has ordered to summon the suspects for the hearing tabled for Tuesday, September 20 at 02:00 pm.
Any person or persons privy to the whereabouts of the suspects are encouraged by law enforcement to contact on 9991442 (Police Custodial Department).
