Famous Swiss brand Movenpick to unveil first resort in Maldives in Nov

Renowned Swiss hotel chain, Movenpick Hotels & Resorts, is to unveil its first property in the Maldives coming November.

According to its official website, the high-end resort being developed at Kuredhivaru, Noonu Atoll, features 105 suites including 72 overwater pool villas, 30 beach pool suites, and three beach spa pool residences.

The resort will feature three restaurants and a wine bar, which will stock famous products of Movenpick such as its renowned ice cream brand, coffee, chocolate and wines.

Regarding the promising property located in a beautiful lagoon, Movenpick expressed hopes that the resort will enjoy high popularity amongst tourists.

The company further revealed that the resort will also boast a state-of-the-art dive centre, beach sports centre, a superyacht for the guests, and a marine research centre as well as a private marina. The property will also have a spa with 14 private rooms, yoga room, ultramodern gym, and various sports centres.

Movenpick owns properties in 23 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The brand currently operates its franchise restaurant in capital Male City.

Noonu Atoll already boasts a number of luxury resorts in operation, including Cheval Blanc Randheli, Velaa Private Island, Soneva Jani and Robinson Club Noonu.
