Authorities yesterday apprehended a 32 year old local male in suspicion of stealing cables from State Electric Company Limited (STELCO)'s substation.
The incident took place last Tuesday at the substation near Majeedhiyya School, and was reported to Maldives Police Service at around 06:21 hrs that morning.
