Will begin improving waste management centres this year: President

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said that efforts will commence this year to improve waste management centres in islands based on population levels.

Speaking in Gaafu Dhaalu atoll Rathafandhoo on his ongoing trip to Gaafu Alif and Gaafu Dhaalu atolls, the President said that waste management in islands is a pressing issue which the government will work to address within the year.
