H.Dh. Nolhivaram suspicious death: victim's husband attempts to hang himself while remanded

The man who was accused of killing his wife in Haa Dhaalu atoll Nolhivaram, attempted to commit suicide, the Maldives Police Service confirmed late Monday night.

Aboobakuru Faisal, 32, of Haa Dhaalu atoll Fenfushi, was found attempting to hang himself while in police custody. The police said that the incident occurred at around 11:15 p.m.
