Maldives and Bangladesh signed four significant agreements between both countries, during President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's state visit.

This agreement was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid on behalf of Maldives, and by Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Dr A.K. Abdul Momen from Bangladesh.
This MoU is intended to create a joint commission that focuses on the substantive corporation in a multitude of settings.
