Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage, on Saturday, announced that the ninth instalment of the Dhivehi Film Awards will be held on November 15.
Speaking at a joint news conference held by the ministry and the National Centre for the Arts (NCA), Deputy Minister Waleedha Waleedh confirmed that final preparations for the event were underway.
The former actress revealed, having completed the evaluation process, that NCA aimed to publicly announce the nominations on November 10.
The panel of judges consist of Producer and Director Mohamed Niyaz (Tedry), Director Aminath Najeeb, Sharif Ali, Ahmed Ahusan, Aminath Eenas, Fathmath Leeza and Ooredoo Public Relations Manager Noora Ibrahim Zahir.
For this year's Dhivehi Film Awards, a total of 12 feature films and short films were submitted, all released between the year 2017 to 2018.
