Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race, the largest running event in the country, is just 10 days away.
Scheduled for October 27, this year's race is set to feature over 4,000 runners. Runners will have the opportunity to compete in the half marathon for the first time, alongside the 5k and 10k races, which have been consistent with previous editions.
Dhiraagu has partnered with Elite Runners Maldives and Saaid Sports as coaching partners, and The Wellness Club has been selected as the wellness partner to ensure the runners are well-prepared for the race.
The event has received official endorsement from the Athletics Association of Maldives and has earned a spot on the World Running Calendar. It is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races as a World Athletics Certified Race Route.
This year's race is dedicated to the well-being of children. Partnerships for this significant event include UNICEF Maldives, Urbanco, Police, Tree Top Hospital, and the Red Crescent.
