Villa College holds 'Spectrum' exhibition

Villa College has held an exhibition to display the designs prepared by students of the creative arts course at the college. The designs prepared as part of their assignments sported multiple individualistic talents and concepts.

Villa College has held an exhibition titled 'Spectrum' to display numerous creative designs prepared by students studying Certificate Level 4 in Creative Arts at the college for their assignments.

The exhibition was curated to showcase a diverse array of works crafted by students as part of assignments across various modules within the program. It served as a platform to exhibit creations that equipped students with the skills necessary for success in diverse sectors of the creative industries.

The exhibition featured teabag branding designs conceptualized and executed by students gearing up for careers in the graphic design industry. Concept development, brand creation and packaging were all handled by the students themselves.

Models of café designs tailored for a Male' floor plan, crafted by students preparing for careers in the interior design industry, were also showcased at the exhibition. These concepts had incorporated environmentally friendly themes such as sustainability into the ideas. Students had also incorporated ideas inspired by movies into their model concepts.

Furthermore, students were assigned with creating postcards featuring photos inspired by music, which were exhibited at the event. Additionally, a themed photo book curated by students was displayed as part of the exhibition.

The students had further demonstrated the creative process of their product alongside some individual works as well.

Movie trailers, another assignment given to students of the program were also shown at the exhibition.

Villa College stated that the aim of this exhibition is to allow students interested in joining the creative industry to connect with various figures of the industry and facilitate additional exposure for students while encouraging them to persevere in their creative field.

The college underscored that creative arts is a program that builds a foundation for advancing within various creative industries. This program prepares students to study degree courses in various creative fields such as graphic design, interior design and fashion design.
