Six people arrested with 13 kilograms of drugs in Male' and Hulhumale on Friday evening has been detained for 15 days.
Counter Narcotics Intelligence and Drugs Enforcement Unit had raided several locations in Male and Hulhumale' last night, and seized large amounts of drugs and money.
They had seized 13.56 kg of drugs and money amounting to MVR 644,020 (USD 41,779) during this operation.

Police media had confirmed to Mihaaru News that they arrested six Maldivian men over this, and Criminal Court had ruled for them to be detained for 15 days while the investigation is being conducted.
The drugs and money were seized from two houses in Male' and a guesthouse in Hulhumale'.
Police had seized large amounts of drugs in similar operations in the past as well.
