Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid declared Sunday that the commitments between Maldives and India, which were announced during President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's state visit to India last December, were underway.
He made the statement in a tweet following a sit-down with India's Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, who is currently on a two-day official visit to Maldives.
"The relationship between Maldives and India is indeed special!", declared the foreign minister in his tweet, stating that he was "very pleased" with the progress made on the commitments.
