Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced that there has been 208 COVID-19 fatalities in Maldives.
On Thursday, the agency announced the death of a 34 year old Maldivian man admitted in Hulhumale' Medical Facility (HMF). On Tuesday, a 79 year old Maldivian woman admitted in the same facility had also passed away.
With an additional 212 cases that were confirmed to be COVID-19 positive within the past 24 hours, Maldives has had a total of 72,678 cases so far. There has been 68,197 recoveries and there are 4,262 active cases at the moment.
