Police said that when the four individuals were taken for their remand hearing at the Criminal Court, the court ruled to hold them in custody until police complete their investigation into the case.
All four individuals are Maldivian men.
Police earlier said that one person was injured in last night's altercation. He was treated at Senahiya Hospital and later released. His condition is not serious, they said.
