Maldivian Master Chef Maha Naseer has judged the now ongoing World Junior Chef Challenge 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The World Junior Chef Challenge is an internationally judged competition and features chef teams from 12 countries as well as four teams from Thailand. Other participating nations include Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Mongolia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, the United States, Australia, and Greece.

Maha is the first Maldivian to earn the title of Master Chef and she holds a degree in Creative Culinary, Culinary Arts, and Cuisine. In the past, she has served as Secretary General of the Chefs Guild of Maldives. In addition to her achievements, Maha is a World Chefs Approved Pastry Rookie Judge and one of the few female executive chefs in the country.

Alongside her career in the culinary world, Maha also serves as a working board member of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).

In the past, Maha judged a global show with top chefs at the "Global Chef Challenge" in Rimini, Italy last year. She was among the top judges of the semi final in that challenge, where 20 European teams competed for a chance at the finals.
