PG to re-appeal remand rejection of Moosa's murder suspect at Supreme Court

PG will be seeking a second review of High Court's decision to not hold Moosa Ahmed's alleged murderer Ibrahim Sammah in remand pending the outcome of High Court's review of the lower court ruling which found Sammah not guilty.

Prosecutor General's Office (PG) has decided to appeal the remand rejection of a suspect who is charged in connection with the murder of Moosa Ahmed at the Supreme Court for a second time following High Court's ruling to not hold the accused in remand.

The suspect in question is Ibrahim Sammah, Fathuhy originally from Alifu Dhaalu atoll Maamigili. He stands accused of killing Moosa Ahmed, originally from Vaavu atoll Keyodhoo, near Items, a shop in the capital city of Malé in September of 2017.
