The Cricket Board of Maldives has completed the refurbishment of Malé Indoor Practice Facility. The facility has been refurbished a number of times since its opening in the 1980s and demonstrates the CBM commitment to provide facilities for the players. As well as usual net-lane practice sessions, the refurbishment offers the opportunity to play competitive indoor cricket matches and tournaments - much needed in these times with many varied sporting activities available for the public at night. The men’s and women’s national squads will be using the facilities for the remainder of January and into February as they both prepare for regional international tournaments in Thailand and Malaysia respectively.
