The Ministry of Education has announced that the award ceremony for the top 10 achievers of GCE O’Level and A’Level is scheduled for May.
An official from the ministry said that 844 students achieved top 10 rankings in O’Level last year.
The awarding ceremony for O’Level top 10 achievers will be held on May 17 and 18, while the ceremony for A’Level top 10 achievers is scheduled for May 31.
The official also noted that the ceremony will confer awards to the National top 10 students of the A’Level top achievers, as well as 441 top-scoring students in individual subjects.
A total of 5,939 students took the GCE O’Level exams, while another 2,849 students took the A’Level exams last year.
Students who achieve the global top rankings in individual subjects in O’Level and A’Level exams will be awarded, and will also receive the President's special award during the ceremony.
