Villa College application deadline extended until end of December

The deadline for applications for the January intake of Villa College has been extended to 31 December.

Villa College said the courses for January 2023 will include private courses offered by the institution and masters and undergraduate courses affiliated with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). This time, the college has offered 139 courses to the public.

The college's courses are designed to meet the standards accepted by professional bodies and industries to prepare students for the workplace.

The college will offer 16 master's level courses, nine postgraduate diploma courses, 38 degree courses, 29 diploma courses, 17 Foundation courses, 16 Certificate 3 level courses and one Certificate level 2 course in their January intake.

The college will also offer ACCA knowledge level, skill level and professional level in addition to an ACCA accelerated course and Oxford Brookes University's BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting course in their January intake.

The college will also offer courses of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at Certificate Level, Operations Level, Management Level and Strategic Level and Certified Accounting Technician's (CAT) Level 1, 2 and 3 next month.

The January intake includes courses in Information Technology, Computer Science, Teaching (Islam, Quran, Dhivehi, English, Secondary Business Subjects, Secondary Science Subjects) and Education.

Additional courses include Sharia, Law, Tourism and Hospitality, Business Management, Aviation Management, International Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Marketing and Human Resources. Villa College also offers courses in engineering (mechanical, electrical, robotics) research, nursing, psychology, public health and interior architecture and design, health service management and project management.

The institute has opened opportunities for January intake at QI campus in Malé as well as Naifaru, Gan, Mahibadhoo, Hithadhoo and Kulhudhuffushi campuses.

The college said the course fees can be paid in monthly installments. All bachelor's degree programmes can be studied under the government's free degree scheme. Villa College has opened applications for January intake, including on-campus and online programs.
