Maldivian has announced that it is reintroducing flights between Hanimaadhoo International Airport and Trivandrum, India.
Maldivian has announced that it will be resuming flights between Hanimaadhoo International Airport and Trivandrum, India from April 12.
A statement released by the airline described this initiative as a step in further strengthening the airline's commitment to connecting the northern region of Maldives to key regional destinations through providing wider travel options for residents.
“This route greatly benefits our customers and the economy of the northern area of the Maldives. It reflects our commitment to improve air connectivity in the north region which will boost to the travel trade and support the socioeconomic growth of the Maldives. We would like tothank all the authorities and partners involved for supporting and making this new route possible, with special acknowledgement to the Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL)," Maldivian's Managing Director Ibrahim Iyas stated.
Passengers seeking to travel from Hanimaadhoo to Trivandrum are able to make bookings even at present. Bookings can be made via Maldivian's website, app, or through visiting their ticketing offices.
The airline has two flights a week scheduled between Hanimaadhoo and Trivandrum, on Fridays and Mondays.
On each of the these days, the flight from Hanimaadhoo to Trivandrum is scheduled to depart at 13:15 hrs. The flight from Trivandrum returning to Hanimaadhoo is scheduled to depart at 16:00 hrs, landing at 16:45 hrs, local time.
