Local telecom provider, Dhiraagu has signed as the digital partner of the Asian Surfing Championship Maldives 2024.
This tournament is the third edition of the Asian Surfing Championships organized by Asian Surfing Federation (ASF) in collaboration with Maldives Surfing Association (MSA). Fifteen local surfers are set to battle with surfers across the Asian region in the competition this year.
Director Customer Services & Regional Operations at Dhiraagu Masood Ali highlighted that this competition marks the second year of Dhiraagu coordinating as a digital partner. The company offers high speed connectivity to the tournament, assured Masood, adding that international audiences will also be offered the chance to spectate the experience.
The Asian Surfing Championship this year is slated from August 17 to 24 at Thulusdhoo island, located 27.2 km from capital Male', in central Maldives.
Dhiraagu remains a company who assists in hosting several such competitions to advance distinct fields of the country's sports sector.
