Decision yet to be made on second round of flats and land plots: Spokesperson

Office of the President Elect has announced today that they have so far not taken a decision on how to proceed with the applications for land plots and flats in the second rounds of Gedhoruveriya (flat) and Binveriya (land) housing schemes.

The second round of these schemes were announced a week ahead of the second round of September's presidential election. Transitional Spokesperson Mohamed Firuzul said they are currently in discussions on the matter and will soon come to a consensus on how to proceed with the applications received.
