In an accident in Hulhumalé 2, one of the two cars involved in the collision has fled the scene.
The accident occurred around 11:40 p.m. last night near Kaamil Didi Primary School.
According to the police, four people in one of the cars were injured in the accident and were discharged after treatment at Hulhumalé Hospital. The driver of the car had a valid license, police said.
One of the cars involved had fled the scene right after the collision had occurred.
Police stated that they are searching for the vehicle.
One of the cars hit the wall of Kaamil Didi Primary School. A video circulating on social media shows the car and the school wall being badly damaged.
Further investigation into the accident is underway, police said.
