Boutique Beach on Dhigurah, Alif Dhaalu Atoll, announced plans to reopen its gates for guests on October 1 onwards.
The all-inclusive diving hotel expressed its commitment to ensuring the protection of both guests and staff, noting that all usual transfers and safety precautions would be securely in place, along with a thorough sanitation schedule for rooms and dive boats.
Additional dive areas and snorkelling sights will be unveiled and added to the hotel's list of attractions following the temporary closure of the property amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We can’t wait to show our valued guests all the new exciting underwater attractions", said the hotel.
Boutique Beach on Dhigurah also highlighted that Whale Shark sightings remained common.
The British Whale shark conservation group, based on Dhigurah, recently recorded 385 whale sharks measuring an average of 5.92 metres within the area.
The hotel features boutique-style rooms with an in-house chef, a roof restaurant and a guest support team dedicated to delivering a premium diving experience.
Boutique Beach is located on the island of Dhigurah, Alif Dhaalu Atoll and nestled in a protected marine area frequented daily by marine megafauna such as whale sharks and manta rays.
