The hotel's inauguration, attended by key figures from the tourism ministry and industry, marked its grand opening with 50 rooms across multiple categories.
The hotel includes sea view rooms, providing a spectacular vantage point for witnessing mesmerizing sunsets. These include the Deluxe Infinity Sea View Room, Grand Sea View Room, Deluxe Sea View Room, and Grand Infinity Sea View Room. Exclusive to the Grand Sea View, Premium Deluxe Sea View, and Grand Infinity Sea View rooms are private balconies with sun beds, offering a premium lodging experience.
Complementing the setting is a special beach area within Stone Hotels, featuring a bar for guests to enjoy coffee and other refreshments. The hotel boasts a steakhouse, available through reservation, and two 24 hour restaurants for guests to indulge in delightful dining experiences.
Director of the hotel, Abbas Mohamed said, "Stone Hotels represents a concept that has the potential to elevate local tourism to new heights, offering a premium leisure holiday experience on a local island." He emphasized that the establishment is crafted to deliver comprehensive services from one location, aiming to provide guests with the best possible experience of the Maldives.
The hotel also features a sauna and spa tailored for those seeking a leisurely escape. The sauna has a picturesque sea view, accompanied by a two-room spa where guests can indulge in various spa treatments, including couples massages. Services such as manicures, pedicures, and facials will also be available at the spa.
Stone Hotels' rooftop features an infinity pool, a fitness center, and coffee bar, along with a separate terrace to provide guests staying at the hotel with a panoramic view of the island.
To provide a complete immersion in the country's beauty, the hotel offers diverse experiences such as sunset cruises, diving adventures, and day trips to sandbanks and fishing excursions.
Stone Hotels incorporates a 14-seat business center, catering to corporate guests. The hotel also offers services including laundry, bicycle rental, and buggy services to enhance overall guest experience.
With the aim of bolstering the local tourism industry in the Maldives, Stone Hotels is set to launch its second hotel in Kaafu Atoll Dhiffushi next month. This expansion will include two restaurants, a dive center, and a specialized dive and water sports training facility to train diving instructors.
Stone Hotels maintains a 40 percent local workforce. The entire hotel, spanning from interior design to artworks, have also been crafted by local artists.
The company envisions expanding the Stone Hotels brand, with upcoming developments including a 100-villa hotel in Noonu atoll Manadhoo and Alif Dhaalu atoll Dhigurah. The company aims to offer comprehensive services to tourists even in inhabited islands across the country.
