No undue influence on flat list re-evaluation: Ministry

Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Infrastructure has assured that there is no undue influence being exerted on the ongoing efforts to re-evaluate the list of recipients of the 4000 flats under the 'Gedhoruveriya' housing scheme.

It was earlier announced that the list of recipients of flats under this housing scheme introduced by the previous government would be reviewed and republished by the end of last month. Later, the date was pushed to the end of the first two weeks of November, which also remained unmet. In the end, it was announced that the announcement of the final list of recipients has now been indefinitely postponed.
