Forbes Travel Guide (FTG), on Wednesday, announced its annual Star Rating list, presenting Conrad Maldives Rangali Island with a new Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel award.

Forbes Travel Guide is the world-renowned authority in genuine Five-Star service, and Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is the latest addition to its list after proper inspection prior to the pandemic.

Connected by a 3,200-foot bridge, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is sprawled across two islands in South Ari Atoll in Maldives. It lays claim to the island nation’s first underground wine cellar, first underwater villa and first dedicated cheese bar, in addition to featuring 11 dining venues and lounges onsite.

Some other highlights of the resort include Mandhoo’s healthy spa-inspired cuisine; Ithaa Undersea Restaurant (the first of its kind worldwide, sitting 16 feet below the surface) and THE MURAK (the world’s first underwater residence).

Celebrities like Roger Federer and Paul McCartney have holidayed at the resort, owing to its standard for luxury and innovation both under and over water in the region.
