Bank of Maldives (BML) announces its newest initiative, a Housing Grant as part of 12 high-impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate the bank's 40th anniversary.
The national bank of the Maldives will officially celebrate 40 years of continued service in November 2022.
Under the CSR initiative, the bank will build and completely furnish houses for three vulnerable families selected across the country.
Moreover, the bank reported that NGOs, associations and island councils can nominate the families in need of safe housing.
Speaking about the initiative, the bank's CEO and Managing Director Mr. Tim Sawyer said, "The initiative announced today aims to help the most vulnerable families in our communities by providing a safe and healthy environment to live in."
"Through this project, our aim is to make a difference in people's lives, their health and well-being, and offer stability and strength to those who need it most," Mr. Sawyer added.
