Ooredoo's 'Moolee' offers gift service this Eid al-Fitr

Ooredoo Maldives' e-commerce platform, 'Moolee', on Thursday introduced it's 'Eid Hadhiyaa' gift delivery service, ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr which marks the end of the holy Islamic month of Ramadan.

Noting the Islamic tradition of exchanging gifts on the occasion of Eid, Ooredoo stated in a press release that the service was an “attempt to continue this beautiful tradition despite the current restrictions due to Covid-19 and help people stay connected on Eid Al Fitr.”

The service allows customers to send gifts across capital city Male' and reclaimed suburb Hulhumale', and offers an array of products including food items from The Space; home improvement gifts from Brandloom, Allora, Maldice, Westore, and Link Serve; and books by Thakethi.

The catalogue can be accessed on the Moolee shop via Ooredoo App.

Offering next day delivery, Ooredoo’s delivery package includes the ordered item, an Eid greeting Card and a set of Moolee character stickers with every order.

According to the telecommunications giant, recipients of the gifts can enter a lucky draw to win a pair of 'Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus' wireless earbuds. To participate, recipients must like Moolee’s Facebook page and upload a picture of the gift with the hashtags #EidHadhiyaa #DeliveredByMoolee before 23:59 hrs on May 30.

Ooredoo further stated that Moolee team was working closely with its partners to follow HPA safety guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and delivery teams.
