The last session of Parliament for this year has concluded, with members now on recess.
Parliament Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla said that 73.3 percent of the submitted work for this session has been completed.
Parliament goes into recess with 73 percent of work completed
Over the course of the session, Parliament held 27 sittings, while committees held 165 meetings. A total of 20 bills were introduced, and four emergency motions were debated. Additionally, 20 cases were submitted for Parliament’s consideration.
