An emergency evacuation center has been established at the Social Centre to assist those evacuated from nearby houses and buildings due to the fire at the Housing Ministry building.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is overseeing the evacuation efforts and has urged anyone requiring assistance to call 115 or visit the evacuation center. However, the exact number of people currently taking shelter at the center is not known.
