Ministers' public forum 'Ahaa' to be held on Monday

The next 'Ahaa' Forum is planned to be held on Monday night, with five cabinet ministers participating. Public can submit questions via SMS as well now, through sending an SMS to 300, typing AH (space) (question).

The third session of the public forum where members of the general public can pose questions directly to cabinet ministers, named 'Ahaa' [translated as either Ask or Listen] Forum, is scheduled to be held on Monday evening.

The forum is held by The President’s Office in collaboration with Public Service Media (PSM).

Five cabinet ministers will be participating in Monday's forum. These are:

- Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Ameen

- Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusan

- Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources Ahmed Shiyam

- Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development Dr Maryam Mariya

- Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts Ibrahim Waheed

Questions for these ministers are being accepted via SMS as well for this session of the forum. Queries can be submitted by typing AH, leaving a space, stating the question, and sending the text to the shortcode 300.

The first Ahaa forum saw five other cabinet ministers responding to public concerns.

The second forum was led by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

This administration has said that Ahaa forums were ministers participate will be held once every two months. A forum with the President himself will also be held once in every three months.
