Chief Executive Officer of Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) Nadia Hassan resigned from her post on Thursday.
The authority stated that Nadia had resigned on August 29. However, they did not disclose any reasons why she had resigned from her post.
According to CMDA, that the authority's Director General, Head of Market Department Fathimath Abdulla Kamaluddin would oversee its operations until a new CEO is appointed.
Capital Market Development Authority is an independent institution established under the Maldives Securities Act (2/2006) responsible for developing and regulating the Maldives Capital Market.
Fathimath Abdulla Kamaluddin was appointed acting interim CEO under this act.
