Five individuals have been arrested yesterday in a drug related operation conducted by the Police.
Police said that the operation had been conducted by the Drug Enforcement Department in response to information received by their Intelligence Department.
Police said that the arrestees were all men aged between 27 and 45 years.
They stated that the individuals had been arrested under court orders, and 29 rubber packets containing what is suspected to be narcotics was found in the search of the apartment they were in.
Police further said that at the remand hearings, Criminal Court had issued them all 15 days remand in custody.
The case is under further investigation by the Drug Enforcement Department.
