The Civil Service Commission has announced the recruitment of Permanent Secretaries for the ministries.
The Permanent Secretaries (PS) of the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology have resigned.
The Civil Service Commission announced that Ministry of Tourism PS Fathimath Nilfa submitted her resignation last Thursday for personal reasons. On the same day, Abdul Rahman Salah Rasheed, who served as PS for the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology, also tendered his resignation.
Abdul Rahman assumed the post on April 9, 2020, and his five-year term is set to expire in April next year.
Nilfa took on the role as the Head of Civil Servants in the tourism industry on March 10, 2021.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education resigned last week during an ongoing investigation by the CSC.
