The parliament, on Monday night, approved the names of four members for the vacant seats in Civil Service Commission (CSC).
In Monday's sitting, parliament representatives voted to appoint Fathimath Shareef, Mohamed Nasih, Mohamed Farusath and Ibrahim Rasheed for CSC.
During the committee review stage, a total of 41 individuals were vetted, out of which 13 candidates received committee approval.
Voting took place in the order of the 13 aforementioned names, until four members were approved.
Prior to voting, the largest political faction in the ruling coalition, Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), which also holds a supermajority in parliament, had issued a three-line whip on approving the four candidates.
