Zuhudul Haqqu (Zuhud) has been appointed as the Principal of Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE). He has previously served as the Deputy Principal of Imaduddin School.
The post was granted to Zuhud after CHSE's former Principal, Aishath Sofoora, left the school after a nineteen year tenure to serve as a State Minister in this administration's Education Ministry.
Zuhud started his career in education fifteen years ago, starting as a mathematics teacher in Dharumavantha School. From 2011, he started serving as a Leading Teacher at Imaduddin School, being promoted to Deputy Principal in 2021.
Zuhud continued to work at Imaduddin School right up until his appointment as CHSE's Principal yesterday.
He holds a Bachelors in Physics and Maths, and Masters in Leadership and Management from the Maldives National University.
