Chinese tourist found dead in Kuramathi Resort

A Chinese tourist was found dead in Kuramathi Island Resort in Alif Alif atoll on Sunday evening.

According to Police, they received the report at 5:15 pm that day. The 29-year-old man was found dead after he had gone for a swim.

Police said that their officials are currently at the resort, investigating the cause of death.

While the Chinese make up a huge portion of the guests who visit the Maldives, the death poll of Chinese tourists is comparatively high.
