Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) announced 18 vacancies for nurses on a permanent basis.

Applications are open for three categories; senior nurse, registered nurse and senior registered nurse.

In addition to a basic salary between MVR 9,060 and 10,940, the nurses will receive overtime payment and additional allowances typically granted to civil service members.

Interested applicants are requested to submit their applications before June 21.

AEH stated that only candidates that score the highest points based on prior experience and education will be shortlisted and interviewed.

AEH temporarily hired several nurses in April, and more than 90 nurses are currently employed at the hospital.

The 100-bed tertiary hospital commenced operation on January 15, 2020, after which services provided by the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital were shifted to AEH.
