According to the data published by the court, 16 individuals were sentenced to house arrest last year for failing to pay child support, while one individual was imprisoned. In 2021, 10 individuals were sentenced to house arrest and two were imprisoned for the same offense.
In 2023, one individual has been imprisoned for failing to pay child support, while two individuals have been placed under house arrest for the same reason.
Additionally, their data also shows 19 men were sentenced last year to have child support deducted from their salaries before it was deposited. This year, only three cases have been ruled as such so far.
