Police seeks charges against 2 arrested in 'Ruqya' multiple-abuse case

Maldives Police Service, on Friday, revealed that police is seeking charges against the individual accused of perpetrating psychological, physical and sexual abuse against a woman and her three daughters while confined to a house under the premise of Ruqya (exorcism).

Maldives Police Service, on Friday, revealed that police is seeking charges against the individual accused of perpetrating psychological, physical and sexual abuse against a woman and her three daughters while confined to a house under the premise of Ruqya (exorcism).

According to police, the case was forwarded to the Prosecutor General's (PG) Office on Thursday.
