Shangri-La's Villingili Resort and Spa, Maldives celebrated Global Wellness Day on June 2 by partnering with local running group iRunners to host a running club on the resort's six kilometre jogging trail.
The run, which aimed to support a local foundation for children, was inaugurated by Adidas' global ambassador Adrienne LDN.
Throughout the day, the resort offered foot reflexology, healthy cuisine and crystal salt scrubs for guests to enjoy on the beach. Resident yoga and wellness instructor Dr Pooja hosted an awareness seminar about balancing the body as a benefit from foot reflexology.

This marks the third consecutive year in which Shangri-La properties around the world encouraged guests, colleagues and members of communities to embrace healthy lifestyles on Global Wellness Day and its mission, 'One day can change your whole life'.
