A circular released by the hospital today stated that the flu clinic dedicated for the treatment of pilgrims who embarked on Hajj has now shut down due to a reduced number of visitors.
The hospital, however urged all visitors with flu-like symptoms to wear masks when visiting even if the dedicated clinic has now closed down.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) had also cautioned pilgrims to employ precautionary measures after returning from Hajj pilgrimage. The agency, on social media, had entreated all those who had contracted common colds and viral fever to administer home remedies and seek a healthcare professional without delay.
