Police have arrested a man early this morning for breaking a light at the Hulhumale' Police Station after his motorcycle was towed due to dangerous driving.
Police have arrested a man early this morning for breaking a light at the Hulhumale' Police Station after his motorcycle was towed due to dangerous driving.
The individual has been identified as Zaidhan Mohamed Zahir of H. Hemavathi, Male'.
Zaidhan was arrested at around 04:15 hrs today for breaking the light at the western entrance of the Hulhumale' Police Station.
Police said that Zaidhan had come to the station to reclaim his vehicle after it had been towed due to dangerous driving.
A search conducted after his arrest revealed what appears to be a packet of illegal drugs in his pants' pocket.
Police said that they are now investigating charges of vandalism of Police premises and possession of drugs against Zaidhan.
